Help...Prerender in vegas causes image shift

If anyone could help...I do a prerender in vegas 7...in the preview window and playback, the video is shifted. ie; looks like it was panned to the left. I did a render to file and imported to Vegas...plays back the same way. What am I missing? Spent lots of hours and lots or prerenders and it all worked just fine...now it does the above...thanks
 
Make sure you are using the right project properties and aspect ratio for your source footage. I can't think of anything else that could cause this to freshly captured video.

Thanks for your prompt reply folks...

The problem was a setting in the track compositing mode. It was set to a "custom" configuration.
