Help Please!

Hi,
I'm very new to working with Premiere and I have stumbled across an annoying problem.
When I try to burn my footage to DVD, the quality comes out quite pixelated. And then I tried making the file into a .iso file, but in the middle of encoding, it stopped... and would not continue.
Has anyone else had that problem... or does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks a lot!

It might help if we knew what version you are using, and what kind of video you're using, and how you captured it. How does it look on the preview monitor before burning it?

I've captured HDV with Premiere Pro 2, burned a simple DVD with it, and been very happy with the results.

Sorry for not clarifying.

I'm using PP 2, footage filmed in 24p with the DVX-100A... captured with the Samsung DuoCam camcorder. It looks great on the preview monitor before burning...

I would say you have your export to DVD settings wrong then. This is the setting I used on my last DVD- VBR, 2 Pass, Min 1.50, Target 4.00, Max 7.00 [Mbps]. Try setting your variable bit rate a little higher, and see if that doesn't solve some of your problem.

Thanks! I'll try that immediately and update on how it goes... thanks again!

Ah! While it was burning to ISO image it stopped and gave me this message:

runtime error: use of invalid editor "not multi-node in container"

What does that mean?

I have no idea. I just use the Export to DVD function, and burn it to DVD, no ISO image necessary. Are you perhaps invalid???
