I have to admit, I have only looked at the HVX200 portion of this forum so I am new to the audio boards

I have %$500 to spend. I need the best shotgun mic kit I can get for that. Primary uses about 50/50 Interviews and Film work.

Please let me know your thoughts.

I originally found a kit for the Rhode NTG2 at B&H that included everything, pole, mount, softie, two chord lengths etc for $569 or so.
