HELP - P2 store FCP import problem

My computer sees the partitions on the P2 store. Yesterday I imported all my files into FCP without any problem. Now I try to import P2 panansonic and it does not do anything. It does not give errors, it just does not do anything when I click "import P2 files".
Thanks

Ok so went into the partition and copyed both files into the file. The contents folder and the text file that is locked you need both. Now when you go into FCP and go import P2 the little box comes up. Now at the top it says Volume with a + box by it. Just click the + box and find the folder where you coped all the files. Now your clips should show up and you should be able to import them. After they are imported now you can trash the copyed mxf files.

Thanks Benjamin (isn't it),
But the problem is that little box is not showing up. When I click on P2 import nothing happens, nothing shows up. Strange isn't it.

I would start with trashing the FCP prefs. Also did you have the P2 Store mounted before you started FCP or did you mount it after? I have heard of issues with the P2 Import if P2 cards/stroed are mounted when FCP is open.

So the box dose not come up at all.
what version are you running and what syteme are you running it on

The strange thing is that I borrowed one from a friend of mine and that one works fine. So it should be the P2 store. I see all the icons on the desktop but the box doen't come up in FCP while my friends' does

Do the preferences end with .plist

No that can't be because my light is orange and that should be when you work with apple. I'm going to empty the sore and look wether it is a error in the material I shot and that's maybe the reason the store is not working properly. The day before it worked fine.
Thanks anyway for all your help, I appreciate it

I did a thousand of dumps I think, no probs indeed. Maybe it is a corrupt file on the disk that leaves me not reading the disk with FCP. I will let you know what it was when its fixed.
Again I appreciate your help :)
