Help on moving to LA thread

[SimonB]

I remember reading a thread here with a bunch of people chiming in with tips for an LA newbie. I can't find it, and am getting a bit frustrated with the search option on forums.

Anyone have it bookmarked?

Thanks!

LA's an ever-changing place.

All advice in that thread probably obsolete by now, anyway.

A quick SEARCH came back with these threads on "Moving to LA":

But Sad Max is right about things being out-dated already.

Why is it that members can pop in, say "I did a quick search," and provide a dozen great links while I have a tough time getting one successful search? Unfair.

Oh...that just happened.

As far as LA, if we are going to dicuss the place here, the one suggestion I would make is: don't get shot in a random freeway killing. Other than that, have fun!
