Help on "Cohors Tyronum"

Some of the entries online for this are in, I think, Latin. Anyone have any idea what this is? I think it's an army of some sort, but I can't tell. I'm trying to find some round about ways to arrive at dragon slayers, and since a patron saint who it's said "slew a dragon" belonged to this organization, I'd just like to know what the organization is.

Thanks for any help!

It´s latin and means the cohort(army) of Tyr

Tyr is Old Norse - He is the god of single combat, victory and heroic glory in Norse mythology, portrayed as a one-handed man.

Oh, forget it,

if you are talking about Theodore of Amasea
it refers to the army of a TYRE, a city in the South Governorate of Lebanon - it´s said he was a once a member of.

Awesome, thanks!

Your patron saint is St. Theodore of Amasea?

But St. George is the famous dragon-slayer...

Yeah, I saw that. Right now the group's name in the script is "Dragon's Tooth" from a specific event that happened in the story at Dragon's Tooth on Roanoke. I was trying to see if I could find any additional psychological progressions regarding dragons for one of its members. Like sometimes when someone is a part of a group, they'll latch onto certian symbolism that excites them, maybe even taking a name like dragon's tooth and going all the way to "dragon slayer", allowing themselves to be invigorated by the imagery.

It's not a huge deal, but it might bring a nice layer to one of the characters if I can find something that catches.
