Help on censoring/blurring objects

Right now I know how to censor out, for example, a license plate. My only problem is, is there a way to change the angle of the rectangle in Vegas?

I can manipulate the size and position but I would like to be able to change the angle of the recntangle so that it will fit properly around the license plate when the car is shot from different camera angles.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Instead of a cookie cutter, you should use a bezier mask in the pan/crop tool. You can keyframe it to follow the license plate.

Will I be able to change the angle of what I'm blocking? i.e. a license plate that looks titled rather than perfectly straight?

Or can I use the cookie cutter followed by using the bezier mask to change the angle?

You can use the bezier mask to outline whatever shape you want in your image. It's all 2D, so it's just a matter of tracing around the plate.

Thanks very much. Do you know if Adobe Premiere has a more sophisticated feature to do this?
