Just received my new JVC SR-VS30U dual deck (after having to put it in the shop right when it was shipped to us because it wouldn't work and the shipper wouldn't take it back - Abe's of Maine - don't buy from them!)... and the firewire is hooked up, but the computer is not recognizing the deck!
I am using Premiere Pro, and I have Scenalyzer and have captured video using both from the camera itself... but we had purchased this deck on the advice of several forum users who like it. Now I see in Adobe's site that this deck is not on the list of supported hardware, and Scenalyzer doesn't see it at all. Scenalyzer's site has terrible documentation... and there is NONE at JVC's.
Does anybody know, what software recognizes this deck for capture?!? Did we do the wrong thing, buying this deck?!?
