Help! new Print to video & Edit to Tape problem

I have read a lot of help topics of the same problem and have tried what was suggested and it still is not working!

I am using FCP 5.1.4 and a DVX100a.

When trying Print to Tape there is audio but black for picture.
When I stop Print to Tape I see one frame of picture (from timeline)
If I try to play the timeline, wherever I stop is the frame I will see.

I started FCP with the camera on.
I checked Audio/Video settings and View - All Frames.

Please help!
