Help Needed

I dont know if this is the right place to ask this question... But i'll still ask it because it is related to camera and cinematography...

I have a Sony Z1 and I mostly shoot on HDV on the miniDV... My question is can I use the normal regular minidv head cleaner or is there something specefic for the HD technology.... My other question is how often should I clean the head.

My other question is that I know Z1 records at 1440*1080 interlaced. The V1 records at 1440*1080 progressive. Capturing my Z1 footage with the V1 would cause problems, right?

Please help me out... Thanking everybody in advance...
 
Yes you can use a normal head-cleaning tape.

And no, you can capture Z1 footage by using a V1, that's fine. I don't know if a Z1 can play V1 footage, but I'm pretty certain that a V1 can play Z1 footage.
