Does any one know a good way to convert a project that was originally edited on the Affinity to Final Cut pro?

I know I can play it out and capture on FC, but I would like like to transfer the original clips, etc. so that it would be editable in Final Cut.

Thanks,

Not ever worked with Accom- is it a PC or Mac system? If it's QuickTime files- you could copy the files and then try an XML or EDL import of some format the the Accom can spit out.

The Affinity is from the makers of the original IMMIX Video Cube. They also made the Sphere before the Affinity. It is a Mac system.
I think it does save it's captured cips as some kind of QickTime, but it is a different codec and imported will not play in FC.

In that case I'd go back to the tapes- otherwise it would be a lot of lowered quality and re-rendering.

The original Video Cube used wavelet compression. Very efficient for the first pass but terrible for multiple passes, cuts only edits looked fine, but anything over 2 tracks showed compression artifacts. I don't think FCP is capable of decoding the files. As Noah said digitize from the original tapes.
