Help needed (audio guru)

So here's the thing. I recorded a scene between two actors. we do the scene well, then move on. We later remember we missed a line and resetup. the shot is perfectly recomposed, but the mic wasn't even close to the same place. in fact, it was on the other side of the room.

Now, I'm not asking for a miracle, but if anyone would be so kind as to lend me their audio skills and could clean up these few seconds of (pivotal) dialogue, I would be forever in your debt. I'm desperate at this point and clueless about the finer points of sound design.

What I am to say you may not like, but there are no magical ways to insert a line and make it meld with the rest of the dialogue. It will be like a sore thumb, even if most people may not perceive it.

The only way to solve that is dubbing the whole scene.

The above two posts are not 100% true but pretty close. In your case it sounds like the difference in sound would not be fixable. You might want to glance at the thread above about a "Awesome article".

I got your email and have responded but it's the same address so don't know if you will get it? Spam filter?

None of them have any spam filters, except Mailwasher, which does not prevent them from getting here. What I don't want it's not downloaded, only that.

Please write to my "carlmart" address.
