Help? need to use HVX200 for device control ( mini dv ) in FCP.

Hello,

need some help here. I had my Sony DSR 11 go down over the weekend and would like to use my HVX200 just to capture now( from mini dv tape only) in FCP 5.1.4. Anyway I get the window open and it says VTR ok but I can't get it to play once I push on the play button. I am using the capture now feature for a 1 pass shot of the entire tape.... Any help would be great..

HVX has to be in 1394 Device Mode. then set to MCR. in FCP I think you have to go manual. (been a while since I've done it.)

Thanks... I was at the office with out my manual. I will try again tomorrow and see if I can get it to work. My DSR 11 should be ready by Friday.
