HELP! My tripod is broken!

Hi guys, recently my Velbon DV-7000 has suffered a few knocks. Sadly the Handle of the pan head broke, now it just spins & spins. And then i noticed a screw of some type missing from the pan head...which locked it down. Now the entire head comes off! please help me out!

Well, there's not a whole lot to say except that it needs a trip to the shop to get fixed!

Is it not possible to find spare parts? I don't know what to look for, especially that screw/knob that's missing. Also which type of shop would i need to take it to?

Years ago, I had one that did the same thing. I never liked the head, but the sticks were ok. I would get rid of the head, keep the sticks and grab a new head on ebay. something like a bogen. I think if you upgrade to a new head (dif brand) get yourself a 1/4-20 to 3/8ths screw adapter to put on the 1/4 -20. Most head brands use a 3/8ths screw mount on the tripod post. Velbon uses the 1/4-20 post.
