Hi everyone. Im sending a project to Comcast VOD platform, and they asked me a few specs in order to send the file on Mezzanine. The thing is that I cant get to those specs whichones ill post down. I had read everything but I cant get any results. Please if somebody knows which setting would I have to follow in order to render the project!

SD Specs

-Codec: Mpeg-2 long gop
-Container: Mpeg-2 Transport Stream
-Video Bit Rate: 8-20 MBPS CBR
-Audio Codec: AC3 (2 CH)
-Audio Sample Rate: 48 khz
-Frame Rate: 29.97
-Color Sampling: 4:2:0

I do know some specs from there. the only problem is that the people from the station is asking me for a file with extension .mpg and I can only get to those specs by having a file with extension .m2t

Please, I need to send this file by tomorrow and Ive been working on this for like 4 days with no results.

But then it says that is mpeg-2 program stream and not mpeg-2 transport stream. is it posible to have a video with mpeg2 transport stream multiplexer and an .mpg extension or it wouldnt really matters for comcast?

I can't get mine to load right now as I have no mpeg2 file on my laptop but you should try MPEG streamclip load a standard m2v/ac3 then Select "Convert to TS".

Exactly -- I do it all the time, nobody complains. The spec was not written by the people who ingest the video, the stream will work fine they won't care. ;-)
