Help! Motion tracking in Vegas?

I am editing a series of TV spots where I shot footage from a rolling vehicle of another vehicle stranded on the side of the road. I need to take my smoke effect and have it pour out of the engine as the car rolls by. What is the best way to keep the smoke effect in the same position on my moving footage?

There's no motion tracker or corner pin -- you'll have to use pan/crop to keyframe the position frame-by-frame . . . though keyframe interpolation may help you some if it's a relatively smooth, straight course.
