Help! "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error" on Vegas 7

hey guys,

vegas 7 has been working fine until a couple days ago. now everytime i try to open the program i get this message "microsoft visual c++ runtime library..... this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way."

i've tried uninstalling vegas and reinstalling it and i still get the error. i've also given vegas administrators rights but to no avail.


has anyone else had this problem?

does it say error no 65 something. Tell me if theres a reference code for the error. This seems like an OS based problem i used to have before with 3ds max. It would say runtime error and give an error code. If this is the problem i think it can be rectified by entering that error code on the microsoft patches webpage and ull get a patch to run which will eliminate this bug.
