I'm new here so this must be a basic question to you all......
but I want to know how people are uploading their video's and photo's to theire post!!

I would like to know the website you are uploading your photo's on.
Because I've upload a photo to Flickr, and did "Insert Image" on this post but all I get is

2277247203

so how do I do it?

also,

where do people upload theire video's these days?

there is always a URL and when I click it, a widows media player or Qucktime player will pop up and automaticaly play theire video with Great Quality!!
Now how was that done? where do people upload theire video? (no youtube please)

so can someone please tell me the website they are uploading theire video and photo's ??????

thanks

To upload your photos you can just use the "Member Upload Center". The link is in the middle of the menu bar (below the DVXuser logo). Upload your pics and then copy the url code it gives you. Then click the Insert Image icon in your post and paste the url. That should do it for images. If not let me know.

As far as videos, a lot of people use their own website to host high quality videos. If you don't have webspace then I suggest using Vimeo, http://www.vimeo.com . It will host your videos for you (good quality too). Once your videos are uploaded to their site you can copy/paste the urls in your posts.

Hope that helps!

WOW it worked!!!
thank you so much.
that was really easy to do!!

thanks for the video site too.
I will try vimeo.com

Another way for photos: I upload (usually jpgs) to photobucket com. Then copy the link with the [ IMG ] tag and paste that. They handle videos too but the resolution is horrible.

thanks for the help everyone!!!

I just checked out vimeo.com and all the video's have great quality.

but I would still like to make my video pop up as quicktime player and automaticly play so it looks more professional.
so is there a way to do that?

or will I need my own website???
