I'm considering selling my summer term textbooks to Amazon to the tune of a $220 giftcard and I've been trying to decide what to do with the funds. As a poor starting out filmmaker, all I own right now is a rode shotgun with shockmount and softie. I shoot short films, and am booked for a couple of weddings this fall.
So far I have a few options in this price range, but don't know if there's something I'm overlooking or what would be the best combination:
A set of 7506 headphones, Zoom H1, Gaff Tape, Audio Adapters, SD Cards (I rent the Panny HMC150 typically), or a decent boom pole (lightbulb changer is a little heavy, despite its excellent reach), or a LP Micro (comer 900 would be nice but taky doesn't sell through amazon).
