...And no I will not send it to your paypal account.

I have $100 and I'm looking to build up my DVX accesories stock. I've had it for over 6 months, I have 2 Batteries, a Boom Mic A hard Case a Filter($25) and a 2 piece light set. I know $100 isn't much but I want to buy something that will benefit my DVX, any suggestions. I have to spend this money quick, if I don't it will be gone by the weekend if I go out drinking.

Help me!

p.s it doesn't have to be directly related to the dvx, but someway should benefit me as a film maker.

Thanks.

Larry R, yes I have Barry's book.

J5 Squared... I'm definitely thinking the Sticky Pod, but what are the "Chamois eye piece, and spiderbrace.. can you link me somethere to see them?

wow that spider brace is pretty neat. i know the glidecam prducts have good demo videos but are alot harder to use then it looks. how hard is it to be steady with the spider brace and is the mini one good enough or would i need to get the more expensive one.

The spider Brace is sweet. I have one and it easier then handheld to keep straight but it still requires upper body strength

Chamois eye piece is jus a replacement for your rubber eyepiece that goes over your viewfinder. I'm outside alot and that rubber one collects dust like no one's business, the chamois one doesn't... and its only $5.

I think if you picked up a spiderbrace and a hoodman so u can actually see your lcd outside you'd be set.

WOW!! Thanks for all the tips fellas, but can you guys give me links or tell me where can I get these things, the hoodman etc...

Thanks Pettersen for the Link

i ordered the spiderbrace today. seems as the design will be way more steady then holding the camera without it. might even be able to get some steady shots walking with it. for 65 bucks ya really can't beat it.

J5 squared, thanks a ton. I will definitely be purchasing one of the 3 by the weekend. No Long Island Ice Teas... Thumbs up to DVX Users for helping me spend my money wisely.

Good luck on your purchase adumb.

but can you guys give me links or tell me where can I get these things

Do you people not know how to use Google? Not to be a complete ass, but there's helpful information, and then there's spoon-feeding.

Since I didn't know what I was looking for, I figured a direct link would help very much, Google can take you through thousands of un-necessary stuff.

Don't lose sleep over this.

Hoodman, "the Pod", chamois eye piece, spiderbrace

I just ordered 3 out of 4, "The Pod" is next on the list along with the Matte Box. If you guys know anymore accessories like this please share with me so next time I have a little cash to spare I can make some good investments.

Next year, saving up for the Anamorphic. :)

I would say go buy a nice quality (B+W/Schneider) multi coated UV filter....it's not that exciting, but I guarantee it will save your ass (and your lense) someday. If you've already got one, then invest in a B+W linear polarizer- indespensible for shooting outdoors. They can be had for just under 100 bucks. Again, not that flashy, but they will save your ass and improve your shot quality.
