Which one you like the best? Why?
and

Which one you guys think works better for a 35mm film transfer?

I want to learn from your answers.

thanks
g.

SGPro - I haven't gotten the adapter yet, it's on its way from UK, but here's the
thing, you want good customer service. I've sent Wayne a few emails and
regardless of how ignorant I may be of adapters, he's always taken the time
to email me and answer my questions.

You think the guys over at M2 going to be as gracious?

they are in fact! you should only comment on what you have experience with, I've never had to wait more than a day for a reply from redrock and have been very happy with how they handled a broken piece that was my fault. In fact I was so happy I bought a second unit.... though I dont recommend their support/rods, I would go with Zacuto for that.. But the M2 rocks!

Ya, Brian V. from Redrockmicro.com is constantly on these boards answering questions when he doesnt have to. Hes always helpful, always gracious and supports me on my M2 even though its second hand from a previous owner.

I'll have to second that. Brian Valente (hope I spelled it right) is Great. I met him last saturday and I also own an M2. He helped me set up mine. I agree with the rod system. its pretty heavy. I bought mine from redrockmicro because I wanted to make sure it all worked together.
I haven't seen the SG pro. But the M2 does ROCK. (pun intended.) :)

Hiya,

I got my SGPRO last week and am waiting for the holidays to break from work and go shoot some cool stuff.

My initial decision was SGPRO just cos of that I was in the UK and wanted to avoid shipping issues. The fact is over the course of a couple of months between initial conversations with Wayne through to receiving the item, I'm really glad I went SG [I'm not knocking M2 i'm sure they are fantastic] but from the quality of what i'm seeing through to the workmanship of Wayne's product and the fact he's on the end of a telephone or email for support, its great !

It really is a class act. I can't wait to roll camera. THANKS WAYNE !!!!

Good luck with whoever you go with as they are both great products.
