I went out recently and found a dual layer DVD burner. I bought it because it was (you guessed it) on sale. $ 60.00 for a pioneer DVR109. The computer store I deal with is run by asian guys, nice people but hard to understand. I called them and asked what software I needed to realize the dual layer capabilities of my new drive as it came with none. My pioneer dvr 106 came in a box c/w software and cables but cost $800.00. Anyway, I posed this question to a tech at the store who told me

"Ayeee ipend ooos, can get leesibofg ip mupbord ok for that. If not you weee croop lyeee some software OK

Yes, sayI, I'll run out and get one right away....Thanks, bye....

WTF I was told to do I'll die a happy man should I figure it out.

So I turn to you guys and ask, is there any special softeare that I need to burn dual layer DVD's. If so, what are you people using
Thanks

I know Adobe Encore supports dual layer burns (with the latest update) or are you looking for data burns as well?

yes....big time want to burn data. 106 model shipped with veritas but they seem to have gone on a permanent vacation.
