I hope this is the right sub-forum.
Now, what is my problem: I watched a movie as a kid and I enjoyed it immensely, but I don't remember its title or any of the actors names.
It's a 1940s or 50s black and white movie and it tells of a thief-like character who goes on a quest to find.... a desert rose, I believe, or some similar magical object. An Arabian princess was involved and some things took place in Baghdad or similar major Arabian city of the Middle Ages. I remember the protagonist going to different strange places, confronting a Pegasus-like horse, and I very clearly remember the sequence with him in the desert, looking for some special desert rose and being hypnotized by some witch-like women.
In general - an Arabian Nights kind of story but not exactly that. It's not the Thief Of Baghdad.
I was really young (maybe same age as my avatar
) when I watched it, so I don't remember much but the feeling of it and that I liked it a lot.
I want to find it. I did a lot of digging at the imdb.com but couldn't find anything.
This post might look silly but if anyone can hint me with the title or anything useful, I'll love and respect him\her forever. :engel017:
