Hey all,
I'm sort of a newb to audio (okay...I'm a newb), and I'm looking to learn and get experience with booming for my short films. In the past, I've just used two AT lavaliers straight into my DVX, but the lavs restrict the actors movements due to clothes rustling and wires everywhere.
Plus, I'm expanding my equipment for my production company (as well as my abilities to assist in every aspect of production). Anyways, here's what I'm looking to get to put together a boom kit for an Oktava microphone. I've done a lot of research the past few days through this forum, and here is what I've found, but if you guys know a place with a cheaper price, or perhaps a better buy for my money, please let me know!
NOTE: I know it's usually cheaper to buy used, but I'd prefer new if possible.
