I'm looking to buy a couple LED panels. For similar price, I can get:

1. Four of these and arrange them in an array of some sort.

2. One of these

I kind of like the first choice for thee reasons: I arrange/carry only the amount of light that I need. There's 1200 LEDs so should put out similar amount of light. Batteries are included.

Anyone see anything wrong with this logic? Thanks.

Most likely in these kind of lights ( most of CE export versions and most of the rest are in the same ballpark as far as CRI is concerned. Usually in the 70 to 80 figure at best. Also even if they mention the CRI, it's surely less than that.I would take option # 1 for 3 main reasons.
1- You can position the lights for 3 point lighting or position them with different colored gels for dramatic effects.
2- You need only carry 1 for a small interview or run & gun shoot.
3- If you purchase only the big unit and it breaks, drops, gets stolen, etc. you are left with zilch, nada, for the rest of the shoot.
