Help making website.

I'm with Globat right now. They have good rates, but my site suffers a lot of interruptions/slow downs for some reason. Have you noticed if your site runs smoother with Dreamhost than Globat?

I know someone who uses dreamhost for a moderate traffic forum (65,000 posts in 4 months). It has been up reliably, and is quite fast. The only problem was when the forum used too many cpu minutes due to a bug in phpBB and the site had to be transferred to a different server. Not exactly something you should run into with a normal website. They seem to be very good.

From what I've seen and for what I use it for (hosting vids, pics, other small stuff), I really can't complain about the service. I mean, it does what it's suppose to do. Haven't exceeded my bandwith once, and the customer service is pretty good.

Now my reason for switching from Globat was because my subscription was almost up and I found a GREAT promo that Dreamhost was doing. It was there 1 year celebration and had a special where you entered in a promo/coupon code and recieved 1 year service for $10.

No...I design my sites in flash....Actually just ordered my second package today just for my film work. My first site is going to become my corporate multimedia site:thumbsup:
