Is it possible to rebuild MXF files from the individual folders?
Let me explain. I have the "Contents" files for footage show on a P2 card to then load into FCP. I have the files for the Video, the Audio, and the Icon folders (all part of the "Contents" folder). I also have the LASTCLIP.TXT file
However, what I AM missing is the "Clip" folder information which seem to consist of files with the extension of "xml." I am guessing this is the crux of my problem.
Yesterday this footage DID show up in my Log & Transfer window with the Volume name reading "NO NAME." Unfortunately, I held off from importing these files into FCP until today. Now the files don't even show up in my Log and Transfer window.
How can I rescue my footage? The video and audio is all right there (on the hard drive)....almost! Help!!!
