:undecided I'm probably the last person everyone wants to hear from...I've been reading, trying to gather what Mic would be best for a no budget, one man crew, (you probably roll your eyes and think amateur) and you are right but you have to start somewhere.

I'm recording in camera, doing interviews, and shooting outdoors a lot. A boom is not a choice because most of the time it will be only me...so starting off without a budget what is the first mic you would buy and if it's wireless (which I find very confusing) what all do I have to buy?

remember, content over technology...I can't let technology stand in my creative way! :grin:
 
spend 500 on g-2 , find sucker who will explain you how not to ruin it.
creativity cost money and time - and if some one told the opposite he was wrong :-)

no , but in the real world you are complite zero , go back to the store and return the tapes , tell them it would be total weist of money

Good this exactly the time to take Prozac after meeting people like you .sell the camera 2 , spend the money on Russian lessons or whatever " i know nothing" , good to know you know what you are .
 
Maybe Oleg's a little pissed this week... but you should read some of the audio archives before saying you don't know anything.

I'm usually a pretty modest guy... but I even tire of posts where a person comes in with just a few posts and then makes a request for somebody to summarize the entire audio archive specifically for them... even though it happens all the time and there are threads half a page below this one that answer the very same question.

I didn't want any special attention that some people gave me, but why don't you read my, "everything I know about mics so far" thread. That would answer your question really well and then you could no longer claim a lack of knowledge...

You just gotta' understand that it's frustrating that new people pop in every week with the IDENTICAL questions and they don't even want to bother reading any other threads. They just want a personal answer to THEIR post even though you could just scratch out the name and replace it every week.
 
Good answear Matt , but really this is not a problem , i can answer 200 times the same question but i hate the attitude of peope who come with nothing in their brain declaring

this is technology forum which help you in your creativity dumb ass !if you don't wont to learn how to deal with it ,dont come close , my time and knowledge are to valuable to spend it on you for free ,Matt's time is even more since he live in the States :-)

your pronouncing is sucks ,
the money from the camera selling you can spend on humor gin plantation or buy you a Jew friend for few hours - might help, probably not
