I am recording an interview directly into premiere cs4 through the dvx100b. Using firewire from camera to comp. I have a Shure lav vhf reciver hooked into input 2 have all audio up, both channels set to input 2. I have the receiver craknked clear up, but after capture the audio is not even loud enough to show up on my waveforms. I have my talent scream and still levels are very low. When i attempt to increase volume in premiere it gets really noisy. I am at a loss surely I can get adequate audio from a simple interview. Please help.
