Hopefully some one can help here it goes:

Last night i was doing some last minute additions to my little film...i was finished so i saved and quit...thats it. this morning i was going to finish the rest but i ran into a small problem. well i played the what was on the timeline and for some reason there was no preview... not in the main window or in my preview monitor. i have restarted the program many times and nothing has fixed it. i have even brought up old sequences and they wont let me see the preview of the timeline. the timeline moves and when i stop the progress on a clip a single frame comes up...but when i start it back up it stays on the frame. i did export it as a video and it did play fine. but in order to finish this edit i need to see the end.

if anyone else has run into this problem please let me know how to get out of this spiderweb. i have till thursday to finish it and i am stressing.

is your caps lock key on? Go to the view menu and make sure show all frames is selected. Also restart your computer.

yeah some how i had press view wireframe. a friend who knows nothing about FCP fixed it. she switched it over to image....and that was it. i dont know how i switched it last night but i guess it did on accident. lucky me i was stress'n.

Sounds good, I've nver done that my self but could imagine it happening. I love it when some one dosen't know the programe sence they don't think like we do that it has to be something really wrong and not just somthing simple they fix it. I have seen it a 100 times.
