Hello. I have a current FCP project that consists of a bunch of captured Z1U footage. I logged and captured using the Apple Intermediary Codec but now I need to output the project to something else. The files are organized into bins inside FCP and named in FCP, but the raw videos in the capture folder are not labeled or organized. I need to somehow convert these files while retaining their organization inside FCP so I can export the .xml to the PPro users while retaining the organization.
There is no timeline, just the assets. I need to convert all the files to a different codec because some of the editors will be using programs other than FCP on PCs.
My chief editor is currently using the free version of calibrated{Q} XD Decode to view the files on his PC. That works except for the watermarks. That is $150 and doesn't work with the newest Quicktime, so it is not a reasonable option at this time to purchase the full version.
What can I do to the 2,000+ files I have in my FCP project to make them into files that will play nice with PCs?
