Hey Gang,
I figured I would ask the experts here for a little advice. I understand before I ask that the two systems are different and I am up to speed on that. First I would like input regarding the use of tungsten lighting vs. CFL inside. I will be shooting indoors and I thought the best and least expensive way to go was CFL. I know that Kino, etc. are the better of the “cool” lights but my budget currently would lean more toward Linco Flora setups. Finally is there a possibility of “overkill” when purchasing CFL setups. It’s fine to have tungsten equivalents of 4,600 watts…but I am shooting interiors and lighting some stage areas for a music video…is that too much. I appreciate all your help and input. Thanks in advance. One last note, this will all be shot with an HMC150.
