help! from 16:9 to 4:3

hello

i just finished shooting and by mystery a part have been shoot a 16:9. but i need it in 4:3.
can somebody tell me how to convert it in imovie, vegas or final cut?
it will save me a lot of time.

Do you want it letterboxed, or do you want it full-frame?

If letterboxed, just use a 4:3 project.

If you want it full-frame, use a 4:3 project, go into pan/crop, right-click on the window, and choose "match output aspect."
