Help fixing this ADR Work

I don't have proper speakers right now, but it sounds like it wasn't recorded with a very good mic, and is lacking in the low end. You could try a low pass filter and roll off some of the high end, or use the parametric eq to do the same and/or boost the low end.

The main thing that is lacking to make it sound organic is the foley- noise, clothing movements (there's a lot of movement in there, and normally you would here it) Maybe if you refer back to the original track you'll hear what other sounds need to be added.

Depending on what type of space they're in, you might add just a touch of reverb. The other thing is to adjust the volume of the dialog when they turn their heads so that it sounds like they're on and off the mic. (very subtle changes that we only notice when they're missing)

The biggest thing missing would be the foley. Try recording 3-4 passes where you move clothes/feet/furniture to match each character. It doesn't sound organic because it's too clean.

ADR is tough. Good luck.

Interesting that yeeha's impression is the opposite of mine - he finds the bass lacking but listening on both 'phone's (Sony MDR7506) and studio monitors (JBL PRO LSR4328) I find the bass is too boomy and the voice is too forward. It's clearly in front of the scene rather than coming from within the scene. Your talent needs to back-off from the mic - what I'm hearing is the low frequency peakiness from the proximity effect characteristic of a directional mic used in close. Was this by chance recorded with a shotgun close in to the talent's mouth? There's also a little high frequency crackly-hissy noise, not sure if it's from the mic, the preamp, or just where it's creaping in from. Maybe recording a little too hot? Don't know what he's hitting when he slaps the car roof but it sounds more like a kick-drum than any car I've been in. One big, big factor that makes it apparent it's artificial is the lack of an ambience bed tieing the whole scene together, as well as foley for the movements of the other characters as yeeha pointed out.

you gotta fill in your background noises "foley" then everything will blend. I think your speech audio sounds fine but no real way to tell without a mix with foley

Backgrounds are not Foley. Foley (and it is capitalized because it's someone's name) is only sounds recorded while being performed in sync with the picture. If you didn't perform it live to the picture it's not technically Foley. Though it gets a bit grey when you reuse Foley, but that is generally considered FX because an FX editor would cut that in not a Foley editor.

And yes this clip needs BG's and Foley before you can even do much evaluation. It does sound a bit up front but that might change with some BG. I wouldn't do much till I had the rest in place.
