HELP! Fixing Rolling Horizontal Bands Due to LED Lights at Wedding with Flicker Free

I have a clip I shot at a wedding about a month ago that is not giving into Flicker Free when trying to remove small rolling horizontal bands due to LED lights. I've tried getting rid of them by isolating them with Three-Way Color Correction as well..nothing is working.

Any and all ideas will be much appreciated...That venue is the absolute worst, I tried just about every shutter / frame rate I could think of and nothing helped.

Yeah that's a tough one. Those flicker bars are moving so slow most deflickers may not work. You'll never get rid of them with just color correction. From the size of the bars it looks like you were super close to a working shutter but just short of it. Sadly some cameras just can't handle it since they have limited shutter options. There might be a flicker/bar reduction plugin that'll handle it?
 
yeah, it's been really tough trying to figure this one out. I'm thinking of trying to speed up the footage so the bands are more apparent, then removing them, then slowing down the footage. However, this may result in some strange motion blurs.. May just have to live with it.
 
That is probably something you can just say "Hey, it's beyond my control".

But, if you are willing or required to put in the extra work, here's what I'd recommend.

-Create a mask for the lines that exactly replicates the height and feathering.
-Adjust exposure within the mask so that the darkness is no longer perceivable.
-Track the mask to the movement of the line
-Repeat for every line

It may be possible for you to create a loop, where you make a tracking mask for several lines, and then just repeat it till the end of the sequence.
 
Thanks man, thats a good idea. I was thinking of either doing that or using wire removal, but that didn't work at all. I think, since the rate is very consistent, I could make a loop after tracking several lines. I'm probably going to send as is, and if they're super freaked out, I'll go ahead and work on it. Thanks again.
