Help!!!!!!!!! FCP will not open

alll my other programs open dvd4 motion livetype the last i saw of a the opened window was the scratch disc window now it acts like its about to open then it goes back to desktop its on a G5
 
Trash your prefs and restore permissions(which you can google for steps if you haven't done before). If that doesn't work, reinstall FCP from your original discs.
