Help! Ending of an Outer Limits Episode.

I've been trying to find this out for ages! We were watching an Outer Limits Episode several years ago and the cable went out right before the end. It was about an astronaut that had crash landed (I think) on this strange planet. He was in contact with earth trying to figure out what to do. It turned out he had landed on the back of an animal of some kind. He was still stuck there when the cable went out and we haven't seen that episode repeated again. I think the name of it was Worlds Apart. Does anyone remember this episode ... and if you do could you PLEASE tell me how it ended??

(We saw Twilight Zone tonight and that is what brought up this subject again!)
 
Ahhhh, thanks guys, but we are looking for the punch line - was he eaten, spit back to earth during the olympic terran spitting contest ... what!!!!

What did we do after the cable went out? We bitched!!
