HELP!!!! DV Camera Jib arms / Cranes

I need some feedback those who have used cranes on their productions. I am going to be purchasing a 100b and would also like to purchase a crane to use along side with it.
What's the best bang for my buck? How well does the glidecam 200 perform? What about the Proam DVC200?
Any feedback would be most welcome. I cannot afford to get a motorized head as this point in time, but are there cranes out there that will allow you to tilt the camera at full extension?

make your own crane, have your local metal welders do the work after you design the system that you copy from the "big boys" that is what I am doing and I will have a 24foot remote head cmaera crane when I am done, I have the local film people building it(in WIlmington NC) but you can have any welder do the work....or you can go buy one and pay out the ass..the crane I am building is a 10-15,000USD unit and it's going to cost me $2,000 to have it custom made!! this is a RARE time that it SAVES you cash to build your own!

btw it's a bit more money then that as I am also buying the www.cameraturret.com pt24 pan/tilt head..if I had more time I would build that also, it would only take about $300 in parts or less to make it..but I don't have time as I have a feature coming up that the DIrector needs the crane on.
