My C drive crashed 2 weeks ago. I put in a new drive C and reinstalled all my software and drivers. Otherwise no changes in my hardware or settings. Everything is working good currently, but Raylight.
Using Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 (not b and not c) Raylight working normally in normal timeline view. When I click on the "view in full screen" icon Raylight malfunctions. It beeps and the image freezes. Sometimes it is able to play a few seconds of the scenes just fine before freezing. Sometimes vegas crashes completely. Either way, I am unable to play back in full screen, which previously worked like a charm and is a function I really really need.
I NOTICED THAT SOME SCENS PLAY BACK FINE. Others hang constantly. I cannot see any difference in the project setting files... ???????????
I redownloaded Raylight (version 3.01) and reinstalled it. No improvement - same problem.
I also tried a few things to see if I could pin point any pattern to the error, but found it was inconsistent.
Could one of my vegas settings be wrong?
Currently in the "preference" options under "preview device" I have:
device = Window secondary display device:
Details = device connected
1920 X 1200
Display mode = use current settings
Scale output to fit display = ON
deinterlace = OFF
color management = OFF
recompress edited frame (I turned it off just in case) - no changes
