I havent really figured out the best workflow for using projects and sequences, but so far i have two different projects going with a few sequences in each one. somehow i managed to make several of my current sequence tabs disappear off the top of the time line. they were there one minute and gone the next. i think i was hunting around for some hotkey shortcuts and may have hit something unfortunate. is it possible to hit the wrong key or combination of keys and make Premiere delete a sequence tab off the top of your timeline without warning you? are these sequences gone forever? i had hours and hours into some of these. one was cutting a 20 minute interview down to 6 with lots of surgical cutting. the thought of trying to redo it all is not very appealing. None of the auto backups or my own alternate saves have been able to help me find these sequences. i have some actual sequences in the project window, but they seem to be complete objects with none of the individual pieces inside them. they will play but are no longer editable. not sure if i am explaining this very well, but i am so confused. andy ideas? im thinking that there must be some non-intuitive place where an edited sequence can be found, even though a sequence does nto seem to be an independeantly savable or retrievable item.
