HELP Capturing 24p from DVX 100 in FCP 5.1.2

I'm capturing footage shot on my DVX 100a in 24p (NOT advanced). When I log a clip the browser window says it's Field Dominance setting is set for Lower field first.

I have my capture settings set for no field dominance - since it's Progressive footage. When I controll-click in the browser and Field Dominance to "none" it still captures the 24P footage as interlaced.

I know this is going to be something stupid, but what the heck am I missing here?

Shouldn't I capture 24p footage with no field dominance, since it IS progressive? My camera's scene file is set to progressive so it shouldn't be flagging the meta data as interlaced.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Since this is 24p standard, treat it like normal 60i (DV-NTSC).
