I have been using FCP for awhile but only for demo tapes and short projects. I just shot a feature on the DVX100A that will be output back to digibeta or DVCAM. I have never taken on such a large project and will be using timecode, etc. for the first time in my editing (I have only in the past just dumped clips in and cut/slid/etc. to do the edits with Log And Capture). I will be reading Digital Editing With FCP as I do this, but wanted to know how I should capture the footage.
We shot with the 24P setting and with an anamorphic lens (not squeezed) so what presets should I use? Should I still capture as a 29 FPS setting? I will also be attempting the Batch Capture for the first time since I will be using Time Code to assist in my edits.
