Help! Cannot print to tape

Hey, I 've got this project that i must get to the client tomorrow. I've finished it but having problems printing to tape.
I'm really aggravated..cause the only thing that will print to tape is the freaking color bars. Ive tried opening the project in different timelines & sequences..same thing the print to tape stops after color bars. I have in and out points set and everything. What is wrong? anyone know?

Can't I just play the timeline and manually record to my DVCpro deck? I'd have to first get all that s*** off the screen (timecode info, safe title, and those little dashes across the bottom). How do I do that?

Thanks for any help.

This may not be of any help (but) . . . it almost sounds like you have your cables hooked up to the outputs on your deck (instead of inputs). Sorry I had to ask but it happens all the time when we get in a hurry.

Next/also: Up top (depending on how you have your screen setup), I think I'd be checking my output settings. Hope this helps.

Thanks but nope. Just a firewire cable hooked up, and it works fine with Adobe Premiere. I think it's just this particular project in Edius. I had the timeline set up to "act like premiere" with the video tracks separate from the audio tracks (v tracks all up top, all audio tracks below) Instead of the default A/B setup . Anyway, I've got a big mess but other projects apparently print to tape just fine. Thanks anyway.

Premiere still seems to have the edge with the overall interface setup. Although I prefere alot of the features and realtime capabilities of Edius.

The default setup of edius is not ab. Edius is track based. There is a website on which it is said that edius is ab and you have to set it up blah blah....
But that info is very wrong. Edius has always been a track editor.
I'm using it since the first release.
That so called Premiere setup has confused many people and as a result has caused many to pull their hair :)
