Help Attaching Older IDX V-Mount Plate to Zacuto Plate

So, this may be a stupid question, but I have an older IDX P-VS V-Mount Battery Plate, that was designed to be attached to a larger broadcast camera. I'd like to use it on a Zacuto cheese plate, but I'm not sure what needs to be modified, since the back is open with two prong type things sticking out and there are two screws open in the front as well, which aren't there on newer plates.

On a closed V-Mount plate, it's normally just the 4 screws that need to be attached, but on this it looks like I need to move things out of the way or there is danger of shorting something.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Either the hole pattern matches the Zacuto "Zwiss" plate or it doesn't. The plate is designed with as many standard hole patterns as they could fit. If you have some extra holes in the center you can ignore them as long as the battery mount attaches solidly to the Zacuto plate. As for the cables and connectors, I would suggest wrapping over the connector ends with electrical tape and taping the cables in place to the inside of the mount so that they don't move around.

If the holes don't line up, you'll just have to buy another battery mount.
