Help! Architect 5 problem

OK I have architect 5 and import the footage in. I shot 1080P 25.( being in Pal land.)

So I go to Properties, but there is no 1080P 25 option. Only 1080 24. I tried this and the movie seemed a bit jerky and not smooth as it should be. Seemed to happen about every second. Perhaps it was two frames being squeezed into one space?

So what is the solution? Your thoughts would be appreciated.
 
The Blu-Ray format does not support 25p or 30p. It only supports 24p, 50i, 60i, and 25p/30p attributes inside a 50i/60i stream. Check if DVDA is able to do that last thing.
 
Thanks Eugenia. So what is the point in having the EX1 able to shoot 1080 25P?

I am trying again using the 50i template.
 
HD-DVD was able to do both 25p and 30p. Plus, it's important for some plugins to work on progressive footage. So there is value on 25/30p, and camcorders support it. It's just that Blu-Ray doesn't. Maybe they will in a future BD format.
 
I doubt very much you will see any difference in your footage once converted to 50i. There shouldn't be any interlacing artifacts, because each field pair will have been made from the same frame.
