Help ametuer split screen amd slide

Hey guys im a newbie when it comes to editing im looking to have 1 clip then split it to 2 separate screens with a slide

Im using adobe premiere and adobe after affects
 
Maybe search YouTube for "how to do split screen and slide in premiere pro and after effects"?
 
If you just want a simple split screen, with an animated black line between them, that's just keyframing a shape and then scaling/trimming two clips so they're side by side.

If you're looking to replicate that particular video, it looks like the operator went back to the exact place where the split occurs, framed the camera as close to the original frame when they veered left, and this time they veered right. Then edited in such a way that the "split" occurs as seamlessly as possible.
