help: AE CS6 timeline displaying frames instead of seconds???????

I've tried doing a google search and in this forum as well but haven't found anyone else who came across this issue.

My timeline is displaying frames instead of seconds. I went to the preferences section and even to comp settings, but there seems to be no way to display time in seconds instead of frames in the after effects timeline.

I have no idea what's causing this issue, but I need to be able to see my timeline in seconds and not have to keep doing calculations to convert frames into seconds.

Did you try >Window> Workspace> Reset "Standard"? Also incidentally, my timelines always display frames instead of seconds when they are shorter than 13 seconds in length. So, CTRL+K and set it to 20 seconds in length and see if it changes.
 
the format will change if you CTRL+Click the time display. make sure you have tool-tips turned on, it'll tell you that when you roll-over it.
 
Thank you Tom and Danjenkins. It worked. I think you mean't "cmnd" click. Ctrl click didn't do anything. But cmmd click changed it back to minutes and seconds. Thanks again.
