HELP! ae cs5 display requirements!

High everyone,

I just upgraded to ae cs5 and I love the program. I have a question though. The display requirements are 1280 x 1024. My monitor is a tft lcd with a native resolution of 1360 x 768 which is below the required resolution. Thing is, it works beautifully on my monitor. Colors are great, crisp clear picture. Am I missing something? Do I really need to upgrade my monitor for cs5?
 
I think the required resolution is for editing workflow... having a larger display means that the workspace wouldn't be cluttered.
