Help! 6 Pin to 12 Pin lens wiring Diagram?

Hey all, I am trying to convert a lens with a 6 pin connector to a 12 pin to work on newer cameras. A service guy at canon said you would just use the first 6 pins of the 12 pin connector, but that's not working. Can someone help? I already have the 12 pin connector, just need a wiring diagram....

I put an old 6 pin Fujinon lens on my now spare Sony DSR570 and purchased a 6 to 12 pin connector from Fujinon it was over $200AUS, My soldering is not to good these days, plus I didn't have a spare 12 pin. Such is Life.

Yeah, I saw all the adapters and decided I didn't want to spend that much money, so I got 3 connectors overnight shipped for $150 or so. I'm pretty decent at soldering, but I guess I had done it a little quickly and had some frays which were preventing connections being made. I went back through it, took a little more time and now everything works perfectly.
