Hi everyone!

I registered some time ago, but never was active on this site. SO, GREETINGS! ))

If I may ask, I have developed a free Android app which calculates DOF and, what is more, calculates and visualizes how blurred will be your objects beyond the DOF. It is based on works of Harold M. Merklinger and supports some popular cameras/sensors.

So, where is, if any, the safe and correct place to start a topic about this app, maybe explaining some details?

My grandmother grew up in the Ukraine before the war and I'm writing a screenplay about her life. What's the film industry like there?

Industry news and info would be a good place to start your android app thread.

Film industry here is rather down. There are a lot of productions from Russia because of lower costs, though.

Ironically, Ukrainian film industry was flourishing in the Soviet era, under so-called Communism, but now after the curtain is down it is pathetic.

Anyway, to cut it short, nice to be here )
